It is with heavy hearts that we share that Jim Dunlop Sr. has sadly passed away.

Dunlop is responsible for some of the greatest innovations of modern guitar accessories and pedals. After founding Dunlop Manufacturing Inc. in 1965 he started what was the beginning of a decades-long legacy.

With too many brands and products to name, it’s easy to say that Dunlop started a revolution, but more importantly, he built a company based on the values of delivering the best products possible to fulfill the needs of their customers.

We at Wired Guitarist have worked closely with the company for several years and want to offer our deepest condolences to the family and friends of Jim Dunlop Sr., he will be truly missed and his legacy will carry on in the hands and ears of millions for decades yet to come. Thank you, Jim.
